It is not clear whether the problem can be just a bad driver or if it’s the ATI driver getting indigestion because of a problem with the video hardware. I was posting off of my phone and it was being obnoxious. I can give more specifics if I need to, but I would need to find the paperwork with the exact models used. The Windows logo that animates while Windows 7 starts simply stops moving. If I load into any other mode, a similar thing happens. In safe mode, it stops loading on the driver “atipcie. In any mode that loads with a progress bar, like Startup Repair, the bar simply stops moving.

The remaining tips, I also cannot use because the computer will not boot from disc, either. It also freezes on the Windows logo. It’s possible that your having a hardware issue. I would suggest checking with your equipment manufacturer’s sites for possible hardware diagnostic tools to check.
