The soundstage is normal. Nothing exciting, no punch, no thrilling highs and no increased depth that I’d hoped for. However, the album looks and feels great! Worth the money so keeping it that’s for sure!

I have a quality Luxman turntable, Triangle speakers and a hi-res amplifier. I hope it is just me who experiences this ‘ok reproduction’. Amy always impresses but half-speed just didn’t. A superb album. If you like the more well-known Back To Black album then you will love this because it is even better.

It’s a shame that while she was alive Amy Winehouse was known more for her personal problems than her music, because she was a unique and brilliant artist whose life was cut short too soon. God bless you Amy. Vinyl was fine. But record collecting as a passion includes maintaining record sleeves not only the vinyl. Funky DL sums up his evident feeling of being on the outside of particular circles in hip hop within the UK and how that dejection actually freed him from getting involved in the hip-politics and left him free to get on with his career.

The unorthodox 3 bar loop arrangement is apparent in this one with chops and breaks flying in during the arrangement. DL muses over the value of hard work and utilises the glossy groove to let the listeners know that they should never expect things to be handed to them for free.
